Jackie Baillie welcomed Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar to Gartocharn on Friday to meet constituents.

The Deputy Leader hosted a roving surgery at Kilmaronock Millennium Hall while the Scottish Labour leader chatted to residents during the weekly coffee morning held there.

They both enjoyed talking with local people during the event.

The Dumbarton constituency MSP said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Anas Sarwar to Kilmaronock Millennium Hall on Friday.

“As well as being able to meet with constituents through my roving surgery, it was great to catch up with residents at the coffee morning with Lomond Ward councillors Hazel Sorrell and Martin Rooney also attending.

“Thank you to the volunteers at the coffee morning for being so accommodating and to the residents who we spoke with on the day.”
