Constituency MSP, Jackie Baillie, has highlighted a website which aims to help Scottish businesses prepare for Brexit. PrepareforBrexit.scot was launched last year by Scotland’s enterprise and skills agencies to help businesses to identify how Brexit might impact on them.

The website highlights the risks and challenges of the new economic landscape and highlights areas that they need to plan for. The website provides tailored recommendations and suggests events, services and support available. It is also home to a 15-point checklist, news, articles and access to experts.

The MSP has urged all local businesses big and small to visit the website even those who do not export or import to the EU.

Jackie said:

“Brexit will undoubtedly have a major impact on businesses in Scotland. Whether you are a business that imports and exports to the rest of the EU or not, preparing for Brexit is essential.

“The uncertainty around what Brexit will look like is inevitably causing great concern for businesses.

“PrepareforBrexit.scot has been developed by our enterprise and skills agencies to provide essential information and support for Scottish businesses. With Brexit just weeks away I would encourage all local businesses to have a look at the website and seek further support if they need it.”
