Local MSP Jackie Baillie has signed up to show her support for Scottish Tourism Week which is being organised by the Scottish Tourism Alliance.

Tourism Week runs from 3 March 2015 and a varied programme of events will be held in Glasgow for businesses representing the food and drink, hospitality and tourism sectors.

Jackie is also encouraging people in Dumbarton, Vale of Leven and Helensburgh to show their support by using the Twitter hashtag #onewordscotland to sum up what Scotland means to them.

“Dumbarton, Alexandria, Helensburgh and the surrounding areas welcome thousands of visitors from across the world every year thanks to the stunning scenery of Loch Lomond right on our doorstep. That’s why I am pleased to offer my support once again this year for Scottish Tourism Week. Tourism and food & drink are vital components of the local economy in Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire and I will do everything I can to stand up for jobs and local businesses
